One of my favorite things about airplanes is the view you get from up in the clouds. The re-definition of everything from way up there is endlessly entertaining to me. It’s not just about literal definitions of things (i.e., a semi-truck’s container now looks like a very simple, flat rectangle) – it’s also because the way we experience our environment is fundamentally different, and that is often a refreshing change.
