CHALLENGE
The Elmwood is a thriving community with a truly unique personality—though there’s plenty of nostalgia evident in this neighborhood’s historical architecture, the businesses are very much modern and contemporary.
The local merchants association wanted the logo design to convey a sense of place and embody both the modern and historic aspects of this neighborhood. The final logo achieves this by incorporating a modern yet nostalgic typeface set with a rendered illustration, succinctly conveying the timeless quality so prevalent in the Elmwood neighborhood.
